Sintesis is one of the most recognized and popular musical groups in Cuba today. Under the musical direction of bassist Carlos Alfonso, Sintesis includes singers Ele Valdes and Eme Alfonso, keyboardist Esteben Puebla, guitarist Andrei Martinez and drummer Michael Olivera. A Latin Grammy nominee, the group was created almost three decades ago and allows new generations of Cubans to access their Afro Cuban musical roots.
